Thanks Dave. Yes, I do the developing. Printing by Epson has almost surpassed the look of Kodak AZO but not quite.

    Jim,

The photos you posted are absolutely amazing! The vintage camera makes the photos....come alive for lack of a better term, something that cannot ever be duplicated digitally. They genuinely look as if they were taken in the 1930's.....even if there was a new Subaru in the background. Amazing!

I really want some shots of my roadster like this! :D

These are really beautiful images. I'll bet you'd love to get ahold of an Aero-Ektar 178 2.5, eh?

Thanks. Got one, but of course it won't reach around an 8X10. :D Hell, I've been selling some of the good stuff to fund the Model A. A 42CM Heliar just this AM. Then there are others like the Cooke's and Pinkhams that simply aren't for sale, phaeton be damned. Two hobbies in a tug of war.

I was imagining the camera on a stand, with you under the "black sheet".

    Beautiful photographs, Jim. :)

Jim, I think you should travel around with your old camera and take some portraits of other members cars. I assume there would be a demand for your talent.

Doesn't that sound like fun! If I can ever get the damned kids raised  (the oldest is only 30). Maybe I should get a lot more serious about lotto tickets. There's enough room in the back of that Phaeton for a good traveling outfit.

Jim, I think Poverty hit on one heck of an idea ! You could call it the Jim Galli/Poverty Flats Summer Tour ! It would start with the show at Santa Maria (Memorial Day) and end at the L.A Roadster Show on Father's Day (didn't want to start too big). You could do photo studies of members car for a good price ! I wish I had a car worthy of your 8 x 10's.
