Hey Hotdamn, If you're able to dig up those photos of it still in green, please post them up. It looks like only the color has changed. I also agree with you on Ian's and Rusk's Chev's. Badass!

    Got this from starlite website:

1st pic they say this is what car looked like when they got it. Note no pinstriping and different blue (and dk blue top):

This is what car looked like when they finished it, according to website:

Starlite didn't do much apparently. New IFS, new powertrain, new paint.

Is this right, jpracing and BigDaddy?

Like I said in the previous threat "this was Braden Winters old car" to say he built it is true. Braden did the cars original chop, grille and tail lights done at a commuted collage in OC. I tell that anybody that asks. the quality of work was amateur at best. every piece of sheet metal has been reworked or repaired and complete new drive train. It was your typical black primer radir wheel 1953 chevy with a bad chop and angle hair interior that would never been completed. Go to car kulture deluxe issue#8 page 49 right corner. "THATS THE CAR BRADEN BULIT". "I should have changed the grille and tail lights and said i built it". To say this car was just painted blue is a joke!

I'm sure you're right. I was only reporting what their website said.
40hemicpe is right, beautiful car either way. Who painted it light blue?:)

jack fields painted the car at starlite where they fixed the chop so it could have glass not plexiglass like the previous builder and if i remember correctly it had hydraulics.

What a sick car! Perfectly over-chopped. Tough to get a lid that low and still look "right".

Wow, that's the classic don't judge a book by it's cover! There was some weird shit under that car huh? I see how the bad was made better. Looks like it had a great title, but, the story sucked!

No disrespect with my comment about the color change. I had never seen the car in person when it was green, only painted blue. Obviously a ton of work went into making that cat right. Dig it!

I followed him back to L.A. after the Primer Nats and I agree, great car. Those tail lights were hypnotic to watch cruising on the freeway.
