  6. You can actually bolt the 64 comet front sheetmetal onto a 64/ 65 falcon! The bodylines match up as the doors are the same, FYI.

This was an old Vannin' Era 57 Panel called "Yellow Fever"I bought back in 89'. It was a blast to drive with a built 390/4-speed. It was in Truckin mag and a bunch of others back then, after I sold it, it was turned into a pro street. You couldn't hide anywhere with that werewolf on the sides!

Pretty neat that John's delivery is in a shopping center lot. Normally one would expect to see a picture of a vehicle of this quality maybe power parked at an event. Great shot of a great delivery John.

Not mine but worth sharing, this 29 A delivery was at a local estate auction
earlier this year. Although the pan was off and looked like it had been for some time it was pretty much all there and looked original. I lusted for it,
but not to the tune of $12.5K that it took to take her home...

  21. Took this 39 out of a field in pieces from Montana...Welded ALOT of bullet holes. The rear fenders and apron were both slashed away with a torch and had 5 gallon gas can mounted on each side.. very crude. Great truck and comfortable for someone 6'6" ...

  24. I have just bought a '47 Mercury Sedan Delivery.
I haven't seen any '46 to '48 Fords in this thread, let alone Mercuries.
Hasn't anyone else got any of these?

Well this one just arrived last saturday (the guy drove it up from San Diego). Look like it will be taking the place of the '59 Apache currently in the shop.
Anyone stuffed a big block in one of these without a IRS clip (i just love straight axles)
oh yea the trailer came with it along with spare parts for the truck.

Damn this makes me miss my '57 Fords!! Sold two 2dr. wagons and one 4 dr. One of the two doors was sort of unique in that it was a USDA vehicle. It was a two door wagon but had the one piece lift up tailgate/hatch like a S/D. Never seen one like it.

  29. Your 57 was most likely a sedan delivery with the wagon window package added. Pretty rare. Pat.
