In this day and age, I'd think it would be a very closed minded person that would dismiss a well done car because it was a four door. Times and attitudes have changed.

from a practical standpoint, you can't beat four doors...
    enjoy your car...

Oh I am definitely not dismissing it. I'm lucky to have it! I thought I would get roasted a bit 'cause everyone has been doing 54's lately (especially after Monster garage etc.). I love the thing!

  15. you could do worse, it could be a Honda.

  16. remember, there's always an ass for every seat. I see a 4 door Nova behind it, is this a pattern for you?

I've been doing the 2 door thing forever, but I'm really enjoying a four door now myself. It's just one year newer than yours.

That one will look good tricked out or left alone.

    Very nice.

My granddad bought one like that new, except it was green and a '53. I remember how smooth and powerful that six was compared to my '51 Ford six (which I later swapped out for a V8).

Granddad drove that car until his death in 1987.

  24. Very nice looking car! Is it nosed as well as decked? Looks solid too...
My dad passed his '54 fourdoor on to me when I learned to drive - maybe in 16 years you can do the same!!! :)

    Enjoy the family cruisin' scene!

we all know more is less! but nice clean 4-drs are available. I would own one... but they will never be worth as much as a 2-dr

One daily driver is worth 10 garage queens.

    Oh -- I'm sorry -- did I say 10? I meant 100.

I like it but I think if it were mine I would paint all the door post including the little rear panel post, inside the windows side trim surround either black or dark blue maybe to match the dash to kind of subdue that ugly (sorry) rear post.
To me the post on those 4 doors look better a darker color to give the car a smoother cleaner flow (like a 2 door I guess) I might also even paint the very top white to match the bottom. thats just my .02
    I like 4 doors;)
