Better mileage using an HHO cell does NOT break any of the laws of thermodynamics. The "free lunch" is actually just the unburned gasoline that would normally go out the exhaust. The results depend on the efficiency of the engine.
I experimented with HHO a couple of years ago, building my own hydrolysis cell on the cheap (well under $50), and tested it in a Dodge Neon. After adjusting the electrolyte (potassium hydoxide in my case) several times to get the amp draw/gas output balance right, I got decent results. However, the upkeep was a pain (cheap stainless desolving, leaks, etc..), and once it got cold it would freeze up. Also, using the same setup on my Windstar van, I couldn't get any improvement, no matter what I did.
It was fun to build and experiment with (for a while, anyway).
Just don't listen to anyone who is trying to sell you something, and do your research.

It works only if you use the purple emotion crystals wrapped in nylon pantyhose submersed in a solution of rabbi-blessed Vidal Sassoon hair product. The milage is AMAZING though!

I'm waiting for another model car post.

  9. I hear HHO works better if you try using POT first.
