No offense notrod13 but after bringing the last issue of this mag home I wondered why I wasted the money on it. Too much crap and short on interesting cars. Never again.

Dude you don't understand it's not a car magazine. Not to dis ya, but it's just not.

    Nottrod, congrats on the ink...

That's the gospel truth - It's more like 'Cosmopolitan' for scenesters. Who ever heard of a car magazine with a 'fashion' section?

Then why discuss it on the HAMB?

The reason you brought it home was on page 106. And it was a damn good reason.

If someone were to try and touch my "families interests", I'm afraid my wife would probably hurt them.

Whether you like it or not (I like it- waiting for the snow to clear for it to show up in my mailbox) it is published by someone who- especially recently- has given quite a lot to the folks that follow the HAMB. I became an alliance member because so many of you have given to me- I'm brand new to old cars and hotrodding- and I try to buy only from Alliance vendors, and support artists and experts who share on this board as much as possible. Great pics Tim- I d/l'ed 'em and can't wait to see 'em in this issue.

If you are looking for event coverage and feature cars this is not the magazine for you. If you want to read well written, funny articles about car culture then Garage is the ticket. Great photography too.

So do a lot of other threads that get deleted. I don't mind if it stays open but what makes this more "Traditional Hot Rod Related" than some others that get deleted? I say if people are responding and discussing (and not all flaming insults) let it stay open for discussion. I'll buy the mag at the newstand as usual.

Hell just that shot of Nikki Dodge's ass was enough reason for me to buy the issue.
