who's making new flake steering wheels?

anyone? I need a real nice blue one

 

Mooneyes used to sell them for like 70.00, However the last time I looked they were sold out. About two years ago I had a black grant laying around so I soaked it up good with primer and painted it metal flake orange and it has been at least two years and it has never went to hell yet. It looks just as good as the day I painted it. Everyone told me I was nuts when I did it but I have done several for my neigh saying freinds since...just some Food for thought. I did use automotive clear coat not rattle can, and use a flex agent "bulldog" to keep the paint from cracking and all that. it worked very well for me.

 

Yes Mooneyes does still sell them. i had one on my a bone pickup i built i believe it was 65.00 and was really nicely done

 

There was a thread on this last week ! Some said speedway had them !

 

i missed last week moon shows that there sold out and i couldn't find them at speedway

 

Grant makes them for Moon but they are on back order and will be for a while. Grant recently moved and are so far behind that the low volume flake wheels are low on their priority list. Hope this helps.
