thanks it was from indiana originally, but they drove it down to mexico in '61 its sitting at my boyfriends parents house waiting for a master cylinder and a new fuel pump...i cant wait to drive it!!

Hell yeah you did good - I'm sure the falcon crowd will pout but falcons were just cheap grocery getters, marketed as second cars for housewives (no offense to housewives).
