    It was something that just "happened" :rolleyes:
    My "Shop" at that time, is what you see in the pics, workbench is a gardentable, and the most sophisticated tool was the grinder on the floor.

    I bought this rusty piece, a couple of years earlier, for a couple of dollars.
    Next thing you know, it just attached itself to the cab:D.

    Later I found out its from the grille of a Simca Ariane 1953:)

    The first vehicle I ever drove, aside from horses & wagon, in '44/'45 was a Model A "gas ration" pickup made from a car.

    Looks like a lot more trouble than it's worth. It would need a lot of work to make it look like a pickup truck cab. Why not just get a truck cab?

    I also think it needs to be shortened behind the door and bring the bottom down straight.

    To me I can see that it is not like the standard stamped out of the box look. I think with a kicked up frame behind there the lines could flow nicely. And if it turns out has as good as Cornfeds, congratulate yourself.
