All the " Barn Finds " are neat but who has owned their ride more than 5 years ?

  1. The HEMI-powered '32 5wd Coupe in my avatar has been in my family for 56 years (and counting).

My father bought the coupe in 1954 ... I became its "caretaker" and legal title holder in 1993 (on my 32nd birthday) ... I plan to pass it onto my son in 2032 (on his 32nd birthday).

My yellow '59 was a hand-me-down gift from my dad for my 14th birthday in 1979. So this Feb will be 31 years...I couldn't drive it because I didn't have my permit yet, but I could install a stereo to play my Styx tapes really loud.

Traded a six four Impaler for this '48 back in '96. It was fresh from the barn '48 back then.

Paid a cool grand for the model A coupe back in 2005. Used to be a drag car in the sixties. Found it in a back yard in the "Valley"; or rather, it found me.:)

Hope you end up with a jail term to go with your collection of tickets. The street is not for racing.

<---Car in avatar Dad redid in the early 80s. I was too little to help, but Dad gave me the car. She's been mine since I was 16 and its time to do another pretty significant restoration. I can't wait to get started!

I got this Nova for my son when he was 14 in 1999. He drove it all thru high school, then did a ground up on it. He loves his car and I'm a proud father.

The '54 Roadmaster (avatar) I have had since 2000...holy hell, time flies! And my little Daily Disco Nova I've had since 1997. It was my Highschool Hellraiser car which made the long journey from FL to CA when I moved out here. The Roadmaster took a flatbed.

I don't sell 'em once I get 'em.

Oh my damn, it's a DISCO NOVA. Out of bounds for the HAMB but my dirty secret is that I have one too. It has been a stellar daily driver and was cheap cheap cheap. I restored mine with my papa too!
