  1. #1 is my favorite for sure. It's perfect! It screams HOTROD ...No festoonery or tomfoolery like some of the others have, that are just screaming for attention.

  2. Exactly, a perfect representation of what the HAMB is about. Purely Traditional. Its my choice as well.

Simple, tasteful, not too "Hey look at me", great paint, #4 is a winner.

  8. That ain't no "model" ... it's a Stanley Wanlass bronze sculpture entitled "S'DEUCED (DAGO'32)."

Stan's sculptures are cast in bronze using the 6000 year old classic Cire Perdue (lost wax) process ... here's he is at work on the piece:

You too can own one ...

Just $97,500 in the "Bronze Patina" finish:

... or $123,500 for the "Hand Painted Bronze" finish:

I'm really surprised more people haven't mentioned the fake patina on #8....
Honestly, that is something I just can't overlook.
Looks like #1 and #2 are running very close for 1st place right now.

I had to vote the same way I did last year, which one would I want to walk out into my garage and see sitting there. I have a hard time thinking #1 woulden't make me smile everytime I looked at it! The car just begs to be driven hard. Good job to all that were chosen!

Gotta go with #1. Clean, simple, no b.s. Dark-colored '29 on a deuce chassis. A hamb car.
    Those are '32 Chevy hood-side vents?...or similar.

  17. Nick,

Perhaps more people haven't mentioned the "fake patina on #8" because they realize that Richard Munz latest roadster is a "life-sized clone" of his Stan Wanlass "S'DEUCED (DAGO'32)" bronze sculpture (which includes the primer spots & patina'd paint).

I'm not saying you should overlook the "fake patina" when voting for the "TJJ: Best Roadster" ... just trying to explain the reasoning behind the "fake patina".

    #2 does it for me

  19. So, he made a life size version of his own $123,5000 sculpture?

That's awesome! but still not as cool as the Chrome Plated stock firewall in the "GoldenRod" '32 RPU.

  21. #1. one bad ass owner built period perfect roadster. Logan isn't afraid to drive it anywhere. Logan has been building some killer stuff for a couple years now & never gets the recognition he deserves.

Headlights and trim killed it but the detail is 100%.
    I also went with Logans.

    Great work Boss, hard choice.
Although I really dig #6, it's really only for racin' along a dusty dry lake bed and wouldn't make a practical "streeter". I also dig some of the others and although they are very well done, they are also pretty standerd recipe. Going by instant appeal, #5 took my attention and the more I looked, the more I liked it. Then I realized who's/which car it is. For me it's gotta be #5!

Thanks for taking the time to do this Ryan - we all really appreciate it - and whoever wins - it looks as though it will be a close competition - which only proves that there is really not a "winner"

Right now, judging from the photos I've seen on all the posts, #6 is my favorite car of the event and is just WONDERFUL - a similar car I'd like to build for myself - but I can see how the winner should probably be a two-seater, eh? #10 would have been my hand's down pick except for that Shrek interior. So.... #4 it is, room for a double-date for ice cream! Gary

    #1, #4 or #7? I had to go with number 4.
