?? I know that most don't like this much chop on a 37, but what can I say I am not so good at the moderation thing. And yes that transaxle is going in it. put it next to my big block and four speed for size comparison

I think thats a great looking chop, quarter windows look good, and flows nice with the rest of the car, looking foward to seeing more down the road on this one.

The pic makes it look a little bigger than it actually is, but it is big.
Good thing its going in the back and I don't have to make a tunnel for it.

What is that transaxle from? Dont give us that "pic makes it look bigger than it is" haha, otherwise you wouldn't have used a bigblock and tranny for comparison, lol!

That should pull the front/rear weight bias back a bit!

Transaxle is a Ford GT as in new GT40

Before everyone flips.... no I am not running these wheels at least not without some full discs covering them up.

Body porportions look killer, & damn if I don't like a louvered deck lid on a 37.

Is the whole frame a tubular space frame or is that a sub frame at the back? Will it have more ties between the lower suspension arms?

I guess this means your spare tire won't be in the trunk any more. WAY outside the box. I like it...watchin'! DD

Its a complete tubular frame. There are alot of reinforcement's/more tubing to go in yet. Its just the main structure right now till I finish fitting major components and then it will get alot more cross bracing.

Definitely way outside the box. Maybe not particularly 100 Hamb friendly, but the finished exterior will be 50ish Bonneville styling.

No spare tire, I ahve tripple A and a car hauler!

Not Yet, I mounted the body to my frame jig and actually built the chassis inside the body as I went. I have yet to take the body off. Once I have a few more things finalized I will pull the body, mount back on Jig and finalize.

This thing is so out there its kinda one of those 3 steps forwards 2 steps back projects.

Thank you. Either from inside, or when you have the body off, it would be great to see pictures of the frame, if you have a moment?

Rub through Red I call it. Not heavily distressed but looks old....

Frame is still top secret for awhile;). Stay tuned.

Roof is chopped 5 1/2" and wedged 6 1/2". doors ended up loosing around 6" off the bottom.

Motor is going to be twin 88mm turbos LSX block. I will be fabbing all the headers and intake.

Not a wheel stander, it is going to be my version of a Ford GT40. Very performance oriented. I always wanted a supercar but like hotrods. So I am going to keep it traditional looking from the outside. The inside will be riveted bead rolled alluminum. But fancied up a little.

When the car is all together you won't have any idea whats going on underneath unless i open the trunk or hood.
