Not just short, but some serious polyester going on there. That's a whole other kind of "fire suit".

Thanks guys. These pics are from 1976. The top one is from a superspeedway, either Rockingham or Darlington. Notice the front facia above the grille has been sand blasted.

  8. Great pics from NASCAR's good days. Junior Johnson's #11 car with Cale driving. I think the #71 is Dave Marcis and that Charger ?? - maybe McDuffie?. Hard to believe both N.Wilkesboro and the Rock are history on the senior circuit. Both were great tracks.

The 71 car is Dave Marcis and next to him is Frank Warren in the 79 Dodge.

If time allows there can be alot of old stuff put up here.

No helmets on the pit crew......and the Nascar Official behind the car is wearing Jeans....wow what happened to real racing. Might be why I only watch about 3-4 races a year.

  12. I think that's a '73 or '74 Charger, not a '79.

Those times are gone forever and now I don't even watch the races because they're too boring.

Good point, and no corporate movie themes and those pesky restrictor plates ...
