A buddy of mine worked at a GM dealership back in the 70s. This guy brings back his newly purchased car saying there is a rattle noise in the dash. After hours of looking they found a steel washer hanging inside the door post by a length of fishing string. Everytime the car moved it would swing around and make a racket. Some dude at the factory must have had a good laugh about that one.

    1. left front fender
    2. original running boards
    3. Compete hood.

When I got hoe, I realized- yep thats right an original 25 louver hood.

    Made the deal much sweeter!!

Now anyone want to trade a 25 luver hood for a quick change?

A fellow hamber (mercdueceman) and good friend bought a 50 merc that was an old custom done in I think 54, they found a pair panties from the fifties wrapped up in an old drive in movie pop corn bag. Pretty cool find I guess.

A long time ago I bought a clapped-out 64 Dodge 440 that looked like a porn shop inside. Condoms, both new and used, a couple "toys", magazines, and a roll of film which I couldn't resist getting developed. It had an interesting mix of pictures on it, some were what appeared to be nice family Christmas pictures, and there were about a half dozen pics that I wouldn't be allowed to post on this forum.

If anyone finds a wedding ring in a '67 GTO, its mine.
It fell off and got stuck somewhere in the dash.

Found about a half acre of grass growing the bed of a 65 Ford F100. Had to throw it out before driving it off.

Just dragged home a '67 f100 yesterday, drivetrain donor for my '29 Nash project. After doing the obligatory cleaning/washing I found a BRAND NEW Mack truck hood ornament under the seat!

I usually find bullshit patch panels under the carpet but over the years I came up with a .357, homemade porn, a Mont Blanc sp? pen that a friend immediately gave me $50 for, and little trinkets from the 50's and 60's

I found a Craftsman knife with dried blood from the tip of the blade to the handle under the seat of a $200 beater I bought in SW Detroit. I also found a Old 1918 Ortgies .25 german pistol under the back seat of a junk car I was stripping before it went to the yard. I still have the gun today, and it looks and fires like a new gun.

I've found a trunk full of gaskets, and dug out an old medicine bottle from the back seat of one of my '34 Pierces. But that's about it other than the heavy stash of Midol I found in my newest daily driver, the most I usually find is rust :(.
