Hi everyone, I thought I'd share a cool build with you guys. I'm posting this for "41Dave" you is not able to post pics. There's some very crafty work involved. Enjoy,

Bobby, Thanks so much for offering to post Moe;s pix. The modified is based on the front half of a mid 20's T touring. The mill is a Model B backed by late model 5 speed and V-8 rear axle with a Quick Change. The frame is a T that the kick upis not the normal. Moe cut the botton of the channel then shaped and bent the rest to get the shape he wanted. The beauty of this build is just not Moe;s friction shock but all the hand built pieces Moe built. No, it is not a billit queen. These all were made by Moe and his hands.

    Enjoy 41 Dave

Guys, Glad you are liking Moe's Modified. It is going back together right now. He still has to do the body work and upholstery. Hope Moe will finally join the HAMB so he can show his handiwork.

Bobby, Thanks so much for posting the pictures !

Rick, Like all the one off parts on Moe's Modififed, Moe made the trans adapter also. Nothing he is afraid to make. His shift knob is a Gilmore button sunk into the shift knob !

Good old Wild Man Moe !

Mac, I queried Moe about the front wheels. I know that they are 30 inch Wheels that are knock offs. I will check back with him. He said they were just some wheels he picked up at a swap meet !

The body has the low & narrow cowl used by FoMoCo from 1915 to mid 1922, not mid '20s as earlier mentioned. I realise this body has been narrowed slightly.
Looks to me like a very good build. And it should scamper too with a modified "B" motor.

WAIT! Is that a Model T water pump on a Model A motor? And, they said it couldn't be done!

Love this car!!! The era, the stance, the motor. That said, the billet machined parts stick out like a sore thumb to my eyes. In that era, parts would have been cast, and machined only where needed. Parts would have softened edges and tapered surfaces. Look at the finish of the Quick Change. I love the work but I think the machined parts would look so much better if they were sand blasted and the edges rounded over. The skill level and imagination is terrific! Just my 2 cents.
    Cheers,
    Stewart

Steve, Yes that is a T Pump on a "B" Motor. I am surprised that it is not a mod others have done.

Thanks for posting the pictures Bobby. I love it. The Yellow T speedster is one of my favorites. This one sure would look better with a closed drive line behind the T-5.

    Here is mine.

very nice. I would love to have one of those front engine mounts. Is this going to see street use or mainly for hill climbs? (wondering due to lack of front brakes)
