  1. That's a gorgeous race car!!! My dad was in the middle of doing a Trostle midget when he passed away. Thanks for sharing.

these just turned up! This is where we found the car and how it "truly" looked. You can see that not much was done on the frame. No cross braces, tabs, or brackets of any kind!

Paint and lettering turned out perfect. Tell the "local legend" he must be aging like a fine wine. Have you fired that thing up yet?

Wow, great work. Beautiful car. Thanks for posting it. I was wondering what kind of motor that aircooled 6 cylinder is?

thanks josh. i havent heard of the ranger engine before but that looks like a cool motor. I wonder how they kept it from overheating in the ranger special? i saw it on the vintage sprint car thread first and i was looking around hoping to find more details on that car. I have been getting hooked on the liberty V-12 aircraft engines while I have been making some parts for them like valves. There were some six cylinders built from the same design (by Lycoming I think). You do some amazing work. I love your latest sprint car, and i also was very impressed with the Dynaliner, and only just found out it is your work. Very nice! I would love to see a thread on your Ranger special recreation!

  24. Nice looking racer Corngrower _____ or Joshua !! I thought those were Nance bird-cages at first but the side view says different. However he did use the ribbed spacers. Very nice work man >>>>.
