A friend of mine sent me a picture of this truck for sale. I was hoping one of you guys would identify it for me. Thanks.

 

37 chevy or GMC?

 

39 or 40 chevy........

 

39 or 40 GMC with the to grille painted, not chromed?

 

Reminds me of a Diamond T, but i think its a Chevy.

 

1939 or 1940 Chevy.

Thanks, guys. That gives me a good idea. It is about 30 minutes from my house, so I'll swing by and get a better look at it.

 

If the top piece of the grill is about a 1 1/4 inches it is a 39 if it is closer to 2 inches it is a 40 also if the dash is flat that is 39 and if the dash is round it is a 40 hope that helps

 

That looks like a GM cab, but the nose may be from a fire equipment maker,
