Hi All, Been lurking for awhile but have finally started reassembling parts of my 41. The good news is I took tons of pictures during disassembly; the bad news is I stored them on a hard drive that died (along with our tax returns for the last ten years...) Oh well. My dad rescued a 41 Ford Super Deluxe 4-door in the early 80s, pretty much original with VIN stamped tranny and 4 color matched rims. It was used as a truck for years and had a ladder rack mounted to the passenger side and the back seat support cut out for tools. It needs completely gone through but at least is pretty complete and relatively rust free except for a few spots in the rockers and fender welts. I've roughed out the body work and just finished assembling the engine and setting it in the chassis for breakin. Gotta find the instructions for making a spring spreader...
Glad you saw the error of your lurking ways and came home. The photos will be well recieved. I might remind you that your story about the hard drive ate my tax records only works if your a senator. Nice project in the works, keep us posted.
