Hey dieselc try callin Shelton Inc. 618-735-2437--good truck salvage yard that's close to you--Dave Shelton runs it--dunno if he'll be there sat afternoon
Thanks guys the parts stores wont have one till mid next week, these trucks are easy to find till you need a part I guess, thanks everyone, Im trying everything I can to find a flywheel.
There is a NAPA warehouse and store---should have a flywheel --just down Wells bypass road just off the interstate 57--route 15
I can not find a flywheel anywhere and guys on craigslist that have held on to the engines trying to sell them wont sell the flywheel that the future buyer of the engine already has anyways.
I know it's 1 1/2 hours away, but Pick N Pull in St Louis would be my best bet. They're open on Sunday. http://www.picknpull.com/ Good luck with that... Mike
The old one broke in a few places, I found out who ever put the motor in left out some important bolts that support the bottom of the engine to the trans.
All I can do is sympathize and pop this back to the top. You'll be okay. Lots of good help out there..... everywhere. It could be worse.
I bet $100 I saw you and your girl at the Waffle House wearing a SoCal Shirt! I live in Mt. Vernon. Send me an e-mail at [email protected] with your phone number if not too late.
