Sure am....i put the skirts on to see how i like it, i think it looks pretty cool. But your absolutly right, i need to work the bottoms a little to get the flow going.

I have no idea how I missed the thread in the beginning but oh man how I like what you did with the chop an the car. That proves that there is Too little, too much and just right on chops on those Chevies. Looks great and keep us posted on progress.

Nice looking chop! Got a '53 in front of the shop I want to chop but never liked the idea of using a different rear window design. Have only seen a few done I like, yours and Jesse James black '54, mainly due to keeping the curved rear glass.

 

Hey everyone thanks for all the responses... I got Paul Rick doing all the glass work, he said for $350 he will make me a custom lexan piece for the back. I new going into the chop i was going to have to use Lexan for the rear window and that was fine with me, i just wanted my roof to look the way i wanted in my mind. He did say that it can be done to cut a new rear glass, depending on the chop.

i meant to say take it off your hands, but my big fingers hit the l instead of the k. and yea its fucken killer! just paint the top. i like cars that are painted, but thats just me.

 

Absolutly bro... thats whats in store next. Thats what where about also, some day i want my ride to nice and clean (painted).

 

What about the wing windows? The backlite's cake compared to those!

BTW, how far, if at all, did you get with that glass guy?

Thanks guys...nothing new to update, just been busy driving the sh_t out of her. Next big thing is probly working on my garnish mouldings, wind-wings, and getting all the glass fitted before paint. I'll keep everyone posted, Thanks again.
