To be perfectly honest, I haven't really decided yet. I know that I love the body. And the trim is what sold me on it. I might go somewhat custom, but there's still quite a bit of electrical nonsense I wanna cover before I even delve into that.

  17. When I read 61 comet, I figured it sucked!!! But that thing looks pretty cool. In fact I dont think i've ever seen one before. It kind of looks like it wants to be an amphicar.

  19. I dig the comets. Mine is 63 two door wagon. I shaved the door handles, antenna, a few emblems. They make a great mild kustom, and they're cheap.[IMG]

All I see is a little "x" in a box. But I believe you. HaHa!

I shudder at the thought of shaving any of my trim. It really does make it.

  21. Box? Shaving? Trim? OMG! What coversation did I walk into????????

Yeah. I immediately realized my poor choice of words after typing that sentence.

  23. Actually i'd shudder at the thought of you shaving your trim also.
I must admit that I tend to be old fashioned...

I'm not so much into the cruiser/custom thing but I'd say all you need is 1"/2" blocks on back and right tire/wheel combo.Already looks pretty sweet.Welcome from N.Florida.
