Did someone drive across country from the east coast to the LA Roadsters show on Father's Day, or was that only the Driven Dirty tour to Sema that I am confused with?
There are usually a few guys who make the trip every year from the east coast. Not always the same guys though. I think one of our own has done it a couple of times.
My friend did it last year in a 32 roadster ,,Top did not go along..Open car all the way...Hi liver in Eastern Pa...near the Jersey / Pa. border...
The infamous rolling Bones crew makes the cross country tour to Bonneville speed week every year and they drive right through Peoria,IL. This year they also drove to SEMA to promote Motorbooks. They stopped off and had lunch with us on their way and they drove their coupe through the freezing rain with no side windows,louvered roof insert and no heater. Great guys and looking forward to making the trip to Bonneville with them this year.
Megan and Matt did it last year from Canton, OH to Pomona and back for the LA Roadster show in Matt's 32 roadster.
