Can anyone ID these seats?

    Got these at a garage sale today($10 each,in GREAT shape!!) ,dude said they were 68 Mustang..They do have a tag underneath with a date of 1 15 68..Any opinions on their identity?

    1968 Mustang with the optional Headrests.
    A Mustang Guy will probably pay more than you did.....:D:D:D

    Those look like Mustang seats to me.

    They are gonna be for sale,as soon as I finger out what they are worth.I cant use them in my Model A..They will DEFINITELY be more than $10 each though..Ahem..

    Wow! Great score! Those are very rare, factory optional 'ejection seats' from a '39 Henway 'Flaming Tortoise' coupe. The option, rare to begin with and brand new for '39, was dropped entirely, mid-way through the 1939-model-year production run, due to numerous lawsuits, when several pairs of these seats were inadvertently installed in cars without the 'jettisonable sunroof', that was supposed to be a mandatory part of the ejection seat package, with predictably tragic results!!! :eek::eek::D
