that was not a mean comment. That picture was of a poor weld. I don't care if it was done by a 13 year old or a 50 year. I welded like that when I was 13. That don't make it a safe enough of a weld to hold a frame together. I took a welding class and certified back in 1973. So I'm not picking on the kid, Hell I think it's great hes doing something with his dad. All I'm saying is don't weld like that where your life or the life of others will depend on it.
Welp. My dad and I made it out to the shop agian yesterday! We got a patch almost done. we got started tacking the back window back together. Oh yah and we are starting on the hinges for the trunk!! More pics this weekend as we start finishing things up! Thanks for hangin in there guys!
Thanks guys! Im not building this car on my own thou. If it wernt for my dad doing most of the fab and stuff, I wouldnt have been able to get anywhere near here on a car. So thanks dad! and that you guys for the support!!
Not yet, We are still working on the bottom peice of the trunk. But we will probably have pictures tommarow or next weekend.
Got some more stuff done on the 27. My dad got the bottom part of thee trunk almost finished. Started chopping the door and getting the hinges cleaned up. My dad and I got the motor moved back more and moved up an inch. I've been toying with my off subject toy. More pics later his week. Good to be back on the site.

Sorry I've been a little slow on the pics. But here is some more pics.. haha Stuff from speedway!! Speedway stuff mocked up Some paint on the "still in work" stuff While I was at skool my dad fixed the pillar behind the door to all line up so here is a before and after: Also got a little rattle can paint on it for a look and so it doesnt rust from all the humidity in the air. Thats all for now. more later
It's cool to see that there are other kids about my age, 15, that are building old cars. Im slowly working on a 59 Chevy pickup. You have a sweet build there.
