Don't know what it is. Not to common and you should give it to my girlfriend. She needs a ride.

Seriously, it looks cool. There must be some sort of mark on it to tell you what it is. Or are you playing?

Not sure what it is either, thought it was a Chevy for a few minutes, but it looks like most of it is there, I think I would restore it.

Those wheels are cool. Definitely keep them. Also, get a tommy gun and have your friends drive it around while you ride on the running boards with this tommy gun.

  17. It's a Nash, boys and girls. IIRC, they did have the four-lug wheels in '27 and '28.

Ah, too late on the post. I'd keep the wheels and hot rod it like a Rollin Bones car.

Check out those solid wheels! Maybe it's just my lack of knowledge, but it seems like I always see spokes on cars from that era. Are those stock?

Definitely rod material, but don't cut it up into some RR abortion.

yes rims are orignal and will be the first to go ... I'm thinking yellow or Lime green , with 60's style crager SS rims . tinted windows and a and a 416 dodge motor or a 318 polly wedge I have the front bumper too but would like all the bumpers chromed too any body mods maybe a slight chop on the top not sure yet and perhaps Flames on the new paint ... yes it will be a glossy paint give me some ideas here please and it's 100% all orignal with 16,000 miles runs and drives great what do you think it's worth

Those disc wheels make great speedster wheels. The chasssis would make a good speedster base if you're going to build a hotrod. 2 for the price of one.

"..hey buddy, how do I get this car.. out of second gear??!!"

I can't imagine cutting up a 16k mile 80 year old car, but I guess it's yours to do what you want. I'd trade it for a Model A in the same condition, or sell it to buy one. That will just make a big, goofy looking, value-less hot rod. Just my .05

    Looks pretty damned neat as-is...

  29. Yeah, I'd have a hard time cutting into something that nice and original, too - they're only original once. And you can always find a Model A to build as a rod instead.

But the sad fact is it would probably be worth more as a rod. Before American Rodder died they showed an upgrade being done on a '27 Chrysler touring, they figured it was worth $12,000-$15,000 as a nice original, and at least $10,000 more as a turnkey hot rod. I don't have a current Old Cars Price Guide, but my copy of Krause's Standard Guide To Independents has some 1999 prices in it and they only show $10,000-$11,000 for a stone mint #1 condition 26-27 Nash tudor sedan. With the market down right now, that's probably more accurate than the current book is going to be.
