    Hi, I need,
pics how a Ford 1948-52 F1 gas tank is mounted in the cab.

I`ll be useing one in my `32 Roadster and was wondering how the lower mounting works
or if just stands on the floor..

    Pics would help a lot

    TIA
    Michael

So does it rest on the two mounting ears at the bottom?
What are the rubber bumpers for?
A few pics would really help

No pictures, I'm at work. But, the flange that goes all the way around the tank is squeezed into the groove in the cab floor. The rubber bumpers keep the fitment tight. The upper flanged section bolts to the horizontal cab reinforcement. It's pretty cut and dry. When I get home I can take a Pic.

I put a spun aluminum tank in the bed because I have a big steering wheel
and needed to make a little more belly room. I looked and did not have pics of the tank but here is my truck .

I have a 48 cab for sale in the classifieds here. In the next to last pic you can see the top flange of the tank and the raised area in the floor that has the groove in it for the loops on the bottom of the tank. Not a great pic but might help a little.

It actually has three thick rubber pads between the tank and the floor so it does rest on the floor then the bolts at the top.
