So if a person was entertaining the idea of trying another show - would May 1 be stepping on anyone's toes?
I dont think there is anything going on that weekend aside from the Grayslake AACA Swap Meet - and that is on the 2nd.

What I have in mind is doing something here in Quad Cities area (half way between Des Moines and Chicago - only 2.5 hours from Ohare when you drive down 88) and it would be an event that would take place RAIN or shine.

Let me know what ya'll think and let me know if you know of any conflicting dates that would make people have to choose between one or the other.

and yeah - Rain will hurt spectators - but real hot rod guys DRIVE their cars - look at Symco 2 weeks ago - lotsa rain - but it was good

May 7-9? I think that is supposed to be the Stray Kat 500, in Dewey, unless Mick has changed it. The Crawl show, which was held in Lamar, Mo. is no longer. Just checking. We haven't missed many of the 500 shows.

I think the Good Guy's Nashville show is moving to May this year.
Also the Rodder's Reunion in Bowling Green,KY is around Father's Day.

 

Yea, I think there's a little shindid in Santa Maria in May.

Isn't Beatersville always the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend? Which would be Sunday May 30th in 2010.

 

Yes, it always has been.

 

The Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green, KY always Father's Day weekend which is the weekend of June 18th this year, same as the LA Roadster Show in Pomona, CA

Yep, Beatersville is Sunday, May 30th, 2010.. And yep it's always the Sunday before Memorial Day.
