Wagon build photos I have made some progress on the wagon since new years,,I finished rebuilding the speedometer head and installed it in the car,, And last week I got the engine back together and today I bolted the 5 speed transmission up today and set it down between the rails,, BTW,, I have used up my next 10 years worth of curse words in one day. HOTRODPRIMER, Very nice work. Keep the updates coming. Gives visual to what working on my '54 Crestline could result in. tnrotter
Looks like a very thorough rebuild with much attention to detail. I also like the green....... very 50's! Keep us posted!
Nice work, man! I have a 55 ranch wagon. You're giving me enthusiasm to get after her and...makin' me look lazy!ha Keep up the good work
I always did like the '52-'56 Ranch Wagons. Yours is looking really nice, very tastefully done, like the color combination. Ozelle the '55 Ford was particularly impressed, she and Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup send approving horn honks. Years ago (late '60s) when I was in high school, I worked at a local body shop. Our parts chaser was a '56 Ranch Wagon with a 223 six and 3 on the tree. Couldn't kill that thing, it could bark the tires going from low to second (and usually did when I drove it and got out of sight and earshot from the shop).
You realize don't you that no Ranch Wagon ever rolled off the assembly line looking that good don't you? This build better get you out of at least a couple of Honey Do's when it's done. Frank
Most excellent job. Thats a fine automobile you have there. I followed the previous thread and am glad to see this one also. I have a 57 ranch wagon "core" that is slated for 2011. I'm all inspired to move it up though.
