Hey guys... I'm not sure what this is. It was posted on a local board and I MIGHT like to see it, depending on what it actually is. It looks familiar but its so hammered I'm thinking two different manufacturers and I can't make up my mind. I won't say what I'm thinking because I don't want to add influence. Really appreciate a few thoughts on this one!
With the way the deck lid mounts and the lip under the rear window im not sure its American. 4 dr possibly. Looks like the B pillar was ripped out of the roof. Wouldnt mind seeing the other side.
Bill it is a 4 door and not a Anglia. I was at this place a few years back. This was at the end of Gander airport. The only way to get to this spot was on the old rail bed. There is no other road going into this spot. These cars were driven on the tracks and dump here. Must be 10 or 12 cars there.I was out looking for the 49-51 merc I heard about so many times. It was gone when I got there but you can see where it was.
Bill you can`t just drive to this by car.it is a nice run on a 4 wheeler. What were you interested in this for anyway?
Hmmmm....I don't think so...maybe. I don't think it had as big a bustle on the back. Was that one in the dump more of a Morris Minor??? It's tough to really be sure because the one in Bay Bulls was so covered in by woods and fill. My son and I are gonna take a quick shot back in there tomorrow morning and get the Bus box bracket, if it doesn't snow. If I do I'll recheck that car as well.
There was never a thought of redoing it... Just hoping it was something it wasn't so that I might get a part or two off the frame. The search continues......
