1955-59 Chevy Truck Chops-Pics Please

I'm considering chopping my big window 58 and just trying to decide how much I want to take out. It'll be sectioned about 4 inches, so I'm thinking about the same out of the top should bring it back into proportion.

Also, GLASS. Anybody know where and how much around Dallas? I read on another thread something about the back being tempered which makes it hard or impossible to cut. Any info????
