I know exactly how you feel my friend. They'll always be missed, but never forgotten. I always will feel lucky because I know a few people who never knew or met their Dad. I always try to keep that in mind. God Bless him and you.

Thoughts & prayers go out to you from my family in Dayton and from me on the road .... Hang in there man, Jim
Sorry, for your loss. My grandpa is a nursing home where my damn aunts and uncles convinced him to go. And I can see he has pretty much given up. My grandma died while I was in Basic 3 years ago. He is perfectly capable of taking care of himself all he needed was to have someone remind him to take is meds. Bastards. I wish I was not deployed I would take care of him. But my condolences.
losing a loved one sucks big time. i lost my mom when she was 53, that was six years ago! you are very lucky to have your dad for a long beautiful life! god bless you and your family. and believe me, he is in a better place keeping an eye on you! keep your head up. thats what he would have wanted you to do!

Sorry to hear about your dad. I lost mine seven years back and miss him ever day. He lived to be 85 and had a good life. I'm thankful for the time we had and all the things he taught me.
Hey man I'm really really sorry. Nothing will ever replace your dad, a dad's a pretty special thing. Remember the good times, it's what gets me through it
Sorry, man! I lost my dad on new year's day four years ago. He went suddenly, we had no indication his time was up. A friend of mine lost his dad when he was 13, and he told me something that helps me. He told me that I'd think of him every day and he's always going to be there for you, somewhere. Good luck and best wishes.
What he said.... I lost my father years ago but he lives on in my memory and he will always be there with me ... as I hope I will be for my children, for we all pass on some time...
Sorry to hear that - lost my dad way too young. He'll always be with you in spirit. All you can do is pull up your boot straps and keep going...that's what he would want.
I know the feeling all too well and can say that time and faith make it better. I'm sure that your dad was a great man. My prayers and condolences are with you and your loved ones.
