Hi my name is Luke I’m from the Minneapolis, MN area. I’ve been picking through the info on HAMB for the last few months as I’ve been rebuilding my shop & tooling. Building new equipment and adding some of the great ideas for equipment that I’ve read up on through various threads here. After resetting up shop I’m going to work on building a T bucket. I’ve started some of the work already as I have time & equipment to do so. Thus far I’ve built a frame (don’t like it just yet thou) gathered most of the major parts engine & trans, rear end, front axle & wishbone, wheels, steering box, and body.
Thanks for taking your time to read through my introduction.
    Luke

Thanks to all that welcomed me to the site!!

There looks to be a fare number of fellow Minnesotans here not all too surprising given the “nice” weather we have in the winter months for work on hot rod projects..” Yah know” that time of the year when yah step out of the shop holding a beer and it instantly starts to convert into a beer slushy? That’s a pretty good sign it’s time kick the car project into high gear & for safety reasons only venture outside with a well made cocktail that won’t freeze up possibly chipping a tooth or giving yah a bloody lip…….lol

Car shows? well yah!!! :) Got’ a get my seasonal fix of OK-ish hot dogs & flat beer but at least the shake down ($$$) by the food vendors keeps my mind off the quality of what I’m consuming .

World of wheels Feb 26-28 St. in Paul and the GSTA Rod & Custom Spectacular on March 27th & 28th are the two shows that I like to get too every year. There also how the guy’s I hang with and myself gauge project readiness for summer you better be doing final body work by World of wheels and doing the final assembly 1sieees - 2sieees by GSTA your build is running late.

    Thanks again

    Luke
