thinking about doing scallops on my coupe,

thinking of scallops, with a matching top piece on my coupe, this is just an idea, need input..

 

I Like the scallops on the side , the roof idea doesn't do much for me . My 2 cents .

 

i need to do a top any ways, just trying to do something cool with it as well, the colors and the scallop pattern are just somthing that came to mind, not set in stone

 

any other ideas,or input on shapeor color thanks

 

Doesn't need 'em. That cars perfect without them. This is a case of more ending up less.

here lies the issue i have to do a top, with or with out the scallops,so if without, what color for the top, to go with the white?

 

I remember when you just painted your car. I think your car is absolutely perfect!! I don't mind scallops but if you want to stand out in a sea of scalloped and flamed cars leave it alone.

Biggest question:

When was the last time you have been to a show or cruise and saw another white "A"?



As for the top, I think black would look right.

for what it's worth, I hate scallops, flame it. scallops look like paint brush lines that didn't quite make it. i apologize to the scallop guys.

 

my first idea was to just go with a black and white tuck and roll top and no scallops....still thinking about that

 

i second the flames. I love me some flames.

 

iam thinking to do just the top....

 

not a big fan of scallops...your car has a "timeless" look without them. less is definitely more in most cases.

Stock black top insert, no on the scallops.

 

Please don't paint the scallops on that car, It looks really nice the way it is now, the roof idea sounds cool.

 

No scallops, black top.

 

No roof scallops, make the side scallops maroon in color.

What about this way of doin it? Please dont mind the finish of my old Hot Rod, just check the "wrong way" scallops. I spraypainted them with rattlecans while drinking beer...

By the way: I numbered the Rod later. Overhauled 327 got 331 cid.

 

Pin stripe the same dark blue as your motor.
