Event Coverage Cruise To The Lake 2010 presented by Los Boulevardos

It's that time of year again! Time to mark your calendars for the last Saturday in February, the 27th. Los Boulevardos Car Club would like to invite everyone to our 2nd annual Cruise To The Lake bbq and car show. Same location as last year. Beautiful Castaic Lake just a couple minutes north of Magic Mountain. Scenic grounds with plenty of parking. We had a wonderful time and a great turnout last year. As always, Los Boulevardos will be providing the tunes. This year we'll also be supplying the food and drinks for everyone. So cruise on out and spend a Saturday kicking back, getting fed, and enjoying nice cars, nice scenery, and good company. We will have good tunes, food, drinks, games. We'll also be holding a 50/50 raffle again this year with cash and prizes, including artwork and gift certificates. Last year the proceeds from the raffle and various donations went to Children's Hospital of LA. This year we are donating to the Veteran's Hospital in the San Fernando Valley. So please join us for a good cause.

The fee at the gate is $10 per car and is charged by the State Parks and Recreation. Los Boulevardos will not be charging anything extra. We're trying to offset the entrance fee by providing food and drinks to everyone who attends. There are plenty of grills at the park so, please feel free to bring any food or drinks you might prefer, but don't feel obligated.

Oh my lordy, it is another -15 degree day here in Nebraska, a long way from the average temp 70 something when I lived in balmy Santa Barbara. But we do strange things when our parents are fading away and we want to be with them. Came back here and just kinda got stuck. Wish I was there to cruz to the lake with one of the coolest car groups on the planet. Have a blast kiddos, I will be living thru your camera lens, hope someone takes some pix and shares with us.
