£1.079 a litre for the **** stuff (supposedly 95 octane RON)
    £1.199 a litre for super green ( 98 octane RON )

per us gallon £1.079 x 3.785 = £4.08 per us gall or £4.91 per imp gallon cheap stuff
per us gallon £1.199 x 3.785 = £4.54 per us gall or £ 5.46 per imp gall supergreen

    £4.08 x 1.62= $6.61
    £ 5.46 x 1.62=$ 8.85

I,m assuming that i,ve got the correct exchange rate but fuel is ******* expensive here and due for a 2.5% tax increase 1/1/10
    Happy Motoring.

Filled up today for $2.539 a gallon. Looking at my records, I noticed that a year ago (December 28, 2008) I filled up for $1.399 a gallon. 81% increase in price compared to one year ago.

We've been around $2.50/gal. for quite awhile now. It can go up or down about $0.10/gal. on a whim. You never know when you pull in but whatever it is you just swear under your breath and pay the bill.:(

Going rate was 3.099 a week ago here in Humboldt county. I haven't looked since then. We typically have the highest gas prices in the nation excluding Hawaii.

Any where from 2 74 to 2.83. Last week it was 2.61.. Spot market back up to 80.00.

Plus the refiners artificially lower thier inventories prior to the New year for taxation reasons, artificially reducing supply. So even though, demand is down, with the supply artificially reduced, its the same as high demand/ low supply.

As for reliance on middle east oil, thats still BS.

so don't cry. if you like your car and lifestyle, just don't think about it. I'm like the DUDE, I just get gas for 30.- everytime. So sometimes its more, sometimes less:)
