Hi Everyone. Just came this site and thought I'd say hi. Lots of great hotrod projects out there and pics. I have a 1937 International harvester 1/2 Ton Pickup. It's got everything original. Believe it or not, it also has a 1937 Motorola 65 Car Radio that works. The truck came with a working car compass, a working automobile barometer, thermometer and alitimeter all made from bakelight the precursor to plastic. It also has a rear view mirror with an old windup clock built into it. It has a 213 Cubic Inch engine with roughly 78 horsepower and a 3 speed transmission. Top Speed: About 45 MPH. I am almost done restoring it to near original condition but still have a few things to do with it. I am going to paint it sometime next year but I hope you all like it. By the way, you guys have some totally awesome cars and trucks yourselves. Wow!
I always liked '30s Haybalers a lot, some nice looking trucks, and yours is the best original unrestored example I've seen in a long time. Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup and Ozelle the '55 Ford are both impressed and send friendly horn honks.
Welcome from Minnesota! Nice International. I hope to have my 46 K1 running and can hope to have it look this nice!
Hmmmmm, the OP did his intro over 3 years ago - he may not be getting everyone's deep thoughts. Ahhh, what the hell!!! Welcome 37International Nice truck.
