Been spending some time now scanning a bunch of my dads old cars and paint jobs he did, he loves him flames! The cars your about to see may not be "traditional" to this site so lets look past the cars and at the paint. Most of these were done in the mid 60's to early 80's. Have lots more I will post later. enjoy

Your dads work is very impressive.Flames are one of those things IMO that you can either lay out or you cant ,i am one of those that know how i want them to look in my head ,but cant seem to get my hands to get it to the car. Thanks for sharing the old pics ...

no I took over @20 yrs ago. I like to tell how he taught me everything he knew, then I had to learn the right way to do things! He got bummed when they took the laquer paints away, he also still prefers to gas weld everything. I guess he's "traditional old school"??

    Hey Faded
It is so cool to see you bragging on your Daddy's work. The pictures bring back a lot of memories. Can you put a name to the flame for us? I know a lot of flame guys. This is good stuff. Thanks

That subtle job on the Datsun Fair Lady roadster is unusual for the time.
He is a talent, your Daddy!

very very cool, its great that you have all that history, do you ever find yourself using his work for ideas? seems like that style of paint and colors is making its way back around.

hopefully my older sister will let me have some of my dads pics of his work.

    thanks for sharing.
