your thoughts on the front torsion bar suspention

I was reading about the torsion bar front end by Moal coachbuilders on a 32 frame. It says Indy-inspired. I was wanting to know if any one has ran this type of front end. If so what do think about it ? can you buy kits?

 

I've seen a 40s hot rod with torsion bar front suspension so it has been around a long time and been done plenty so go for it.

 

To add to this post I'm trying real hard to get the wife to at least want to drive it now and then. I played in the mud for years (till the MAN shut us down) and she was always scared to drive the big trucks.
