To me the 1955 chevy was the best design of Chevy up to that point. My family were GM folks and we had been eating shit with the stovebolt six for some years. My uncles even tried to run a Rocket motor in there 50 chevy club coupe. When the 55 chevy came out everyone in the family could not wait to get one or at least a motor. I think by 1968 they had their first 55 chevy 327 4 speed car, a six cylinder 411 rear. It was unbeatable. That car is long gone however I keep the spirit alive with my 55. I get so mad when someone ask "what year is that" if you don't know nothing else you should know when chevolet came out with their second v8 and first sucessfull V8. This 57 was at a show here not mine but very very nice. What happened to our auto industry.

1957 210 Sedan, Mild built 350, Alum intake, 4 speed...Maybe installing the mill out of my 35 master and doing a tuneport 350/700R in the master...

Something different, a photo of my 56 chevrolet 210 with warmed over 350 and 350 tranny with our matching vintage Scotty trailer which we drive all over the southwest going to various car shows. Enjoying seeing different cars and love rving. Quite the freak show going down the highway. Lots of thumbs up. Alonf with the color matching the interior matches the 56 along with the wheel well cutouts on the trailer and the TT wheels. Car has big block springs in anticipation of a big block that never made it and front end is up in the air a bit. Everyone says lower it, and I say it is lowered after having another straight axle 56.lol. Lots of family fun.

Here's my grocery getter. Buttoning up the A.M. frame swap. Little wiring, fluids, fuel line, exhaust and bumpers . . . we're almost there! Interior is next. Just finished my sewing room and now researching patterns and fabrics to come up with a design.
