I sold my old 1946 Ford pickup a few years ago to Hamber Hershambob (Bob). It went with a 1946 Washington license plate. Fast forward to a week ago. I have a new 1946 Ford pickup, and finding a 1946 Washington plate is super hard. They were not used on cars in that year, only pickups/trucks and just plain scarce. Well, I write Bob to see if he still had the plate and if he wanted to sell it back. I get this in the mail today with a note that says "Merry Christmas"! Thanks Bob, your the best. every time I see someone on here complaining about cars selling overseas I think of all my hot rod friends all over the world who enjoy the hobby as much or more than we do. Guys like Hersham bob prove this. Car people are the best.
Most people think we eat our young, but actually HAMBERS really take care of each other. Cool that you got the plate back!
