i have an axle that i think is from a 40 ford. its 39in from perch boss to perch boss, and with the perches and shackles installed, its 33 1/4 in from shackle to shackle... i'm looking to run the spring over the axle, but all i can find are 31in and 31 1/2in spring widths. would they work? or would it be too "streched"??

any ideas on where to get a spring with a 33in eye to eye measurement?

    thanks

  2. I'm using a 47 axle with a 50-51 f1 spring over it. If that helps you out.
