I remember Randy and Wille... When I was 17 at one of "Disco's" garage runs and gutter drunk partys,,,,ykes.....Crash and burn Tommy...."Wino Bob".......Tommy Mugs from LI......the old guys were pretty cool back then.......... crazy stuff

 

This might not be much information, BUT I remember seeing a similar '32 in Union around 1958-59. It was being sold with an Olds engine, but who knows how many engine swaps could have been done over the years. Now here's the kicker. It was known as the "White Rat", due to it's paint job.
I had my Dad take me over to look at it when I was 16. I had an erection, and he said NO WAY.

Back in the 1970's Gary Disco made a film of a maroon Caddy powered '32 3Window that was one of the first "Period Correct" builds. I can't remember the builders name, he was later killed in the car, silly parking lot accident if I remember correctly. Is that car still around?

 

I think your talkin about Lenny Zacara's caddy powered 32,,,, which he basically died in.........after the car was sold it burnt to the ground in a garage fire

Big block Mopar with a crossram on it. Someone is sure to remember that. The photo of it with he light colored coupe in the background says mid 60's to mid 70's at the time of the photo.

i think that car you saw rick was later painted green and called the lolly pop gary miner, or artie reporti had it in the 60,s the guy that had it got a new 59 pontaic. that he called the white rat too he ran the pontaic at the old bridge track maybe if this is the same coupe it ran there too
