not new to the site but got my first project(finally)

    i finally got a decent start for my first old project. i have built a firebird that i completed last summer got that up for sale to hopefully fund some really trick parts.
    new project is a 29 model a coupe chop started almost done just needs to be smoothed out 6in chop. but i'll need ideas on frame suspension floor roof skin etc etc any tips would be greatly appreciated

    posted the pics of what it looked like when i picked it up last week havent got a chance to do anything but sand the rear quarters yet

    yea thats the one off of craigslist
    ---UPDATE ON THE CAR---
    dash bar and parts off roof sanded down smooth to metal an reprimered
    wondering if anyone knows a good place and rough estimate on media blasting?

    r_yelk - Congratulations on your new ride that's a great start. A lot depends on the amount of money your ready to spend on the new ride. First step would be to find a frame a model A or a '32 Ford frame would do the job, you'll have to box the frame. It's good advice to look at various threads on frame building here on the HAMB. Wecome to the HAMB.

    Think:

    1. frame
    2. drop I beam axle & wishbones
    3. 8" or "9 inch rear end
    4. Engine of choice
    5. tranny
    6. Wheels
    7. tires

    This would give you a nice start.
