Well, my dad decided, because I've been such a good kid, and haven't asked for much since I moved to Indiana and got married, that he'd give me his '55 Ford. He's getting old, and the lowered custom doesn't give him the ride he's looking for. He bought a 1970 Buick Skylark Convertible as a replacement for cruising. So, attached are a few pictures. Currently the car is sitting in the driveway, under a car cover. That will be remedied soon as I clean out 1/2 my workshop. There's not much that HAS to be done. Who ever modified it before my dad owned it shaved the door handles, but there's no way to open the door from the outside. So, you have to reach in and open it w/ the inside door handle. First thing I'll be doing is correcting that with some remote door openers. After that, I'm going to live with it a little and see where it takes me.
Great and clean looking Ford , AND a damn good price ! hell for that price , I would drive the pee pee out of it ! Good luck and have fun.
Thanks, and I do plan on doing that. This thing ain't gonna get trailered anywhere, unless it breaks. Oh yeah, about the only details that I know at the moment. 302 ford, 3 speed automatic. Interior is white tuck'n'roll. Other then that I'm going to be identifying the rear end, and seeing how it was lowered.
The vent window on the drivers side does not close, so you stick your arm in and pull the inside handle.
