Greeting All! I look forward to gleaning a bit of knowledge from your Forums. I rebuild engines as a hobby to provide a source of engines for my local Model A Club. I use insert bearings because of a few personal babbitt failures and the local shops that offered good babbitt work have closed. I have an engine block set aside that I plan to hop up a bit this winter and test next summer. I am always looking for ideas to increase durability and look forward to what I can learn.
