Houston HAMBer Cruze December 2009!!! LAST ONE FOR 09!

*The word on the street is that Richard D a/k/a Chili-Dog has a Buick on the road and will be making the Cruze with Chi Chi ridding shotgun.

Sunday the 6th of December 2009, (and the first Sunday of every month), if you are in or near Houston, Texas you are going to the Cruze at the Shady Tavern Ice House.

Special Holiday edition. Santa Hat optional.

Date: Sunday the 6th of December 2009 (First Sunday of every month, except Round Up month)

Location: Shady Tavern Ice House
Time: 3:00 p.m. (Park right in front)
Duration: as long as it takes.
Attire: Clean OK, Greezy preferred
Requirements: Love of hot rods. Don't have to show up in one, but that would be cool.

I'll be making it this month, bringing my HAMB banner with me to get HAMBERS to sign it to hang in my garage

 

going to try to make it, hope its not to cold

 

It's gonna snow Sunday! But, I may still show up...

 

not sure if I can make it, the boy turns 14 on Sunday.
doubt he will want to hang with his dad, and his dad's old friends.

You know we never really learned how to drive in snooooowwww....riiight? So...uummmmm....I may paaaaaaassss on this one. May-be....May-be not. We'll see.

Not sure if I want to play icecapades bumper cars in meh little hooptie.

 

1) it ain't gonna snow, 2) driving in snow is easy. The rear end can get a little loose but I KNOW you know how to drift through a turn at opposite lock. If not, watch a few Dukes of Hazard reruns.

The air ride compressor and brake lights are out on the Rivi, but I'll probably show in something lame.

 

I will not accept that. Fix it. You called me...and told me the Rivi would make it...and (sob) I got my hopes up, and believed in you man! (snif),...(uncontrolled weeping)...

 

Sounds like me trying to get people over to help on the build.

Wish I could make it I am in Tyler today, and will be in Dallas til wednesday......and I am riding around in the van wit no heater so if I can ride four hours you can ride 30 minutes lol
