It's the same with Pontiacs of those years I have a hard time finding some stuff but it's out there. We will come into our own! Check my album.

Here's my '46, first finished around '92. It's due for an update, maybe chrome bumpers and grille and different wheels.

I always loved the look of the fastback sedans,.... I had this 46 a few years back,... was going for a early 60's look, but was all chassis engineering with a SBC,.... I had a heck of a time finding a new owner for it,.... lost a pretty good chunk of change on this one. (it was like paying someone else for the privilege of working on there car.) I guess I should have kept it,.. I thought it was a cool looking car. (never did make the 2" blocks for the back)

Here's mine. Just got it a couple weeks ago and can't decide if I should go the full cutom route or leave it stock with just a few subtle changes. Let's keep this thread going with pics. Gives those of us building some of these cars some great ideas!!!

Right now I have 5. Two fastback Fleetines, two 4 door sedans, and a sedan delivery. in the past I had one other Fleetline fastback, 5 coupes, and a 2 door sedan. I have built 6 of them for others.

600 lbs. lighter than a 60's camero? Compare hood, door, trunk lid, frame, etc. no way! The metal is twice as thick everywhere else also. Also alot heavier than my 40 chevy. Don't get me wrong I liked mine, just liked lighter faster cars and trucks.

Wow, maybe it's because I like them so much that I spot them all the time at events. I like the grills on the 47 and 48 a whole lot better then the Ford models for sure. I was looking for a '47 or 48 Chevy convertible when I found Big Olds.

The '47 Chevy convertible I had before Big Olds

I had a 46' buisness-m coupe, and a 47' sedan delivery, and am now working on this one, 47'. I love the body style, nice pics.

Here's the wife's 47 she and her dad started in high school. Been stored at the farm for about 17 years.
Wife is a purest and wants to keep it bone stock minus belts for the boys and some upgrades to the brakes. I think I'm gonna have to sneak in some custom touches here and there.

Cool pics but can you see from these pics that people are really lost as to what to do with front bumpers, i solved mine and flipped it and moved it closer to the body front and back looks way better imo.

IMHO, "lost" is speculative, just as choice of running sweat meats or not. I speculated and chose not.
