This is why a lot of these Aussie shows keep getting lamer & lamer.

Young dudes that still get thrills outta American Graffiti, boring the shit outta guys that have been watching it for 10 or 20 years longer than the young punks with big mouths.....yet when the old dogs give the young punks the opportunity to be half the man they wanna pretend to be, they just turn to water in their rolled cuff jeans.

I guess now Ryan can close this thread now, and someone can start another thread that promotes Chopper's show, so as many people as possible can give some Support at a time when John, who trailblazed these big modern shows for you young punks to enjoy, needs as much help & support as we can give.

for someone who rags on pretty much any aussie event post of people having FUN and going to events, how about getting your head outta your arse, come to a show and say gday! we've supported johns shows, and pretty much anything we can for a very long time, your dumb arse posts embarrass us dude, hence the stupid replies which follow.

 

you for real? since i got my licence nearly 10 years ago i have been, with a car, to every picnic since, every kustom nats, the one hot rod rumble, the san remo cruises and froze my arse off at berwick every friday night i can.
i have worked on cars for john, towed them to shows for him and helped set up these shows on a number of occasions.

and the "young punk" you seem to have a stick up your arse about takes all the pics and writes all the articles to show the kustom nats, and all john's shows, as the awesome, party atmosphere events they are.

HC tried to get everyone excited about this show, hell the dudes coming out from SA for it, and you give him shit for it.

I've been at a lot of these shows.
I said g'day to lots of people.
I talked to plenty of people with cool old cars.....without rolled up jeans.
I didnt stop to look at the early falcons/early holdens unless they were something really spectacular.

Im embarrassed at what Street Machine magazine has become....will you be at the BoganNats in Canberra or at the Island???

I dont shitcan Aussie events......just some of the knobs that go to them, then come on a public forum to point out how cool they are to have been part of it.
I especially shitcan dudes who come on here and do a "Fonz critique" on other people's cars....its cool when Kirk does it, coz he would do it to the car owners face.....otherwise....its just pissweak.

I've seen plenty of people buy LHD cars from the U.S. on ebay and think that they're the new king of kool and kustom.
Thats a nice car....I hope you and your club mates did a lot of the work on it.
That would be good if young Aussies were doing that kind of work.
I hate those threads where the original builder in the U.S. sees the car they originally built, then post build photos.
