Hot Rods my new project 1915 c-cab

    thats one cool looking body ,ive always dug the look of c cabs,i have a couple of questions if you dont mind ,is the body built from plans,or templates made from a factory c cab ,i would love to build one, and any info. would be great,thanks

    Very cool looking .. I can picture the big rear tires and a tricked out nail head ... Hilborn or Crowler Injection .. big stacks !
     
  6. My favorite has to be the Paddy Wagon! Don't have any pic's. I bet you could get all kinds of ideas from the model kit though...

    the paddy wagon is why i wanted to build one. i'm gonna paint it cobolt blue flake with some gold leaf lettering on the side

    the c cab i grew up in and the c cab truck i just started building ( ignore the box on the back , i needed someplace to put it out of the way).

    Very cool! I've always liked this style body. Could you give us some details on the body?

    Years ago I had an opportunity to visit Dan Woods, at Contemporary Carriage Works, and he had a couple of these in progress. They had beautiful wood structures and then he had skins formed for the rest of the body from sheet metal.

    Is this how yours is built as well?

  28. C cabs rock! i read on the hamb someware that someone was building a paddy wagon clone but run into legal problems??? ive just built a 29 C cab truck in 1/24 scale for the model group build off. cant show pics yet. yourll have to wait untill early december.
