The fact that there are so many scum bags, thiefs, murderers, etc, out there and then a 7 year old gets dealt a hand like this proves that life is not fair sometimes. Hang in there, you have a lot of people in your corner pulling with you.......
Lost my son last Feb, you and yours will be in my thoughts and heart. Good luck, and don't forget to take some time and just laugh.

I heard Ethan had an uplifting day!! he was able to go to wrestling meet at IOWA, with coach Dan Gable!!! GO ETHAN!!
Hello evryone . Thanks again for all your support through a tough time. On Thursday Ethan got to meet Dan Gable , The old Iowa Hawkeye wrestling coach. and he took Ethan under his wing and had him as a guest at the Iowa Hawkeye duals on Friday. The Kids Life people got him ready and took him to the meet. When he came back he had that spark in his eye we havn't seen in a while. He had a great time. Yesterday they bundled him up and wheeled him up to the top of the parking ramp so he could see some of the exitement across the street at the Iowa/Minn football game. Another big deal.Last night his best friend showed up from home. The last 3 days have been positive but really wore him out a bit.His second round of Chemo start in a week. He is reacting to the treatment pretty well. We hope this trend continues. Thanks again.
Hello everyone , Thanks for all your support. It means alot to all of us here.Ethan has had a pretty good run here since his first Chemo treatment considering . He still fights everything which I see as a good thing right now. It doesn't take alot to wear him out but he is starting to eat again which should help make him stronger. He starts his second round of Chemo next Monday and will have treatment three weeks in a row and then a two week break. We thought we might have him home for a couple of days for Thanks giving but it doesn't look like that's going to happen so we all are packing up our Thanksgiving dinner and taking it to him at Iowa City. You an follow his progress by going to carepages.com and registering. His care page is Ethantylerscarepage ( type it just like that). His mom is updating the care page daily. Thanks again for all your kind words, prayers and support. We have started down this long road and we will not turn back. Dennis
